WELLNESS
through PTWorks+
Clinically guided movement—during, after, and beyond physical therapy
What is PTWorks+?
PTWorks+ is the wellness and performance extension of Physical Therapyworks. It provides clinically grounded movement care for people who are in physical therapy, transitioning out of it, or focused on long-term movement health.
PTWorks+ may be a good fit for you if:
Are currently in physical therapy and want additional, guided movement support
Are nearing the end of physical therapy and want structure afterward
Want to move better, not just exercise more
Value individualized guidance in a small, controlled environment
PTWorks+ in Practice

DNS Group Classes
Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization (DNS)
Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization (DNS) is a movement system based on how humans naturally develop posture, stability, and coordination. DNS focuses on restoring efficient movement patterns that support daily activity, training, and long‑term injury prevention.
DNS is something we frequently introduce during physical therapy sessions at Physical Therapyworks. However, due to time constraints, patients are typically exposed to only parts of the system. DNS Group Classes through PTWorks+ are designed to go deeper.
In these small‑group classes, participants learn DNS as a complete system—including principles, developmental positions, progressions, and eventually integrated movement flows—so the work can be applied more effectively in daily life and exercise.

Personal Training
Clinically Informed Training for Strength, Movement, and Longevity
Personal training through PTWorks+ is different from traditional gym-based training. It is informed by physical therapy principles, movement assessment, and a clear understanding of injury history and biomechanics.
Because training takes place within the same clinical environment as physical therapy, our personal trainers can collaborate with physical therapists when appropriate and draw on relevant clinical insight—such as diagnosis, impairments, movement patterns, and goals. This allows training to be approached with clarity and intention.
The result is training that builds strength, capacity, and confidence—without sacrificing movement quality or long-term joint health.

CBA
Comprehensive Biomechanical Analysis
For some individuals, a Comprehensive Biomechanical Analysis (CBA) is an optional—but very thorough—way to support their wellness and performance journey.
A CBA is a deep dive into how someone is aligned and moves. It provides a detailed, head-to-toe understanding of strength, mobility, alignment, and movement patterns related to the activities that matter most to them. This information helps guide personal training, wellness, and performance work during sessions with our providers as well as in an individual’s home exercise or training program.
While a CBA is not required to participate in PTWorks+ offerings, it can be especially valuable for those who want a clearer baseline, more individualized guidance, or a comprehensive framework to inform both in-clinic work and independent training.
