Personal Training
Clinically Informed Training for Strength, Movement, and Longevity
Personal training through PTWorks+ is different from traditional gym‑based training. Our training is informed by physical therapy principles, movement assessment, and an understanding of injury history and biomechanics.
This allows us to design programs that build strength, capacity, and confidence—without sacrificing movement quality or long‑term joint health.
Training sessions may focus on:
-
Strength and conditioning
-
Movement efficiency
-
Injury prevention
-
Return‑to‑activity progression
-
Long‑term fitness with clinical oversight
Personal training is ideal for individuals who:
-
Are transitioning out of physical therapy
-
Want individualized guidance without ongoing PT
-
Have had prior injuries and want to train safely
-
Prefer a thoughtful, structured approach to fitness
Sessions are tailored to the individual and may incorporate DNS principles, traditional strength training, and functional movement work as appropriate.
A key distinction of personal training at PTWorks+ is collaboration. Our personal trainers work within the same clinical environment as our physical therapists and, when appropriate, can draw on the therapist’s understanding of a client’s diagnosis, impairments, movement history, and goals. This access allows training to be informed by clinical insight rather than guesswork, helping ensure continuity, safety, and more meaningful progress—while still working toward long-term independence.
Depending on your goals and availability, clients can choose their preferred Trainer:
