Krista Ankeny (MS, NASM CPT & PES, NASE, USATF Level 2 Coach)

Personal Trainer

Krista competed as a heptathlete for world-renowned Mount San Antonio College, eventually joining the University of Oregon track and field team. Presently, she is the head coach of the New Roads High School track and cross country teams and the assistant track and field coach at Santa Monica College. She teaches beginning and advanced college fitness classes, including weight training and circuit training, and is also a personal trainer.

She is a Level 2 USA Track and Field coach in combined events, a NASM certified personal trainer and performance enhancement specialist, a NASE certified specialist in speed and explosion training, and a Foundation Training student instructor. Krista earned her Master's degree in exercise science, health promotion, and injury prevention, from California University of Pennsylvania.

Krista's passion is to reveal the inner strength that she believes resides inside each and every person.


Len Lanzi

Len Lanzi (CMP)

Len graduated from the University of Rochester with a bachelor's degree in psychology. He went on to study massage therapy at IPPT in Los Angeles in 2008. He is certified as a Licensed Massage Practitioner with the State of California.


Len practices European Medical Massage. European Medical Massage Therapy was developed in Russia and later in Germany some hundreds of years ago. This method of therapy is non-invasive in nature and has been shown to be extremely effective in treating and preventing injuries, stress and illness.


Len enjoys rugby, boxing, and running. 


Suzanne Selmo

Suzanne Selmo (C-IAYT, POLY, RYT-500)

As a former patient of Physical Therapyworks, Suzanne is a true believer in the effectiveness of physical therapy combined with the strengthening and stretching benefits of yoga.


Suzanne is a certified yoga instructor who specializes in teaching proper body alignment. She particularly enjoys introducing the practice of yoga to novices for truly effective low-impact exercise and strengthening. Suzanne believes that a strong, limber body is the key to injury prevention and overall well-being.



Jo-e Sutton

Jo-e Sutton is a Certified Holistic Health Counselor through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition and Teacher's College, Columbia University. She has master’s studies in Oriental Medicine from Emperor's College of Traditional Oriental Medicine in Santa Monica. She is a member of the AADP, American Association of Drugless Practitioners and the IAHC, the International Association for Health Coaches.


Jo-e is a counselor, life coach, educator, lecturer, author, avid whole food cook, recipe creator and happy hula hooper, who inspires people to love their way to health.



Patricia Zehentmayr

Patricia Zehentmayr (BA)

Patricia began her journey with meditation in 1996 when she learned Transcendental Meditation on the advice of her doctor. After that, she studied with Chi Gong master George Falcon for five years, learning many different types of meditation, internal and external Chi Gong, and general quietude.

She has a BA from UCLA and taught Pilates at Physical Therapyworks from 2002 to 2005.
