the curriculum

Each resident will receive:

  • 240 hours of didactic education
    • 120 hours of classroom and lab instruction presented by Joe Godges DPT (7.5 hours/day x 16 days)
    • 120 hours of independent study (24 independent study courses x 5 hrs/course)
  • 150 hours of 1:1 supervision while treating patients
  • 18 hours (three 6-hour sessions) of 1:1 clinical performance evaluations while treating patients.
    *These hours do not count toward the 150 hours of supervised patient treatment time.*
  • 1200 hours of clinical practice

All residents provide direct patient care as Physical Therapyworks employees for at least 24 hours/week for 50 weeks

  • Lower Quadrant Physical Examination and Treatment Procedures
  • Rehabilitation of Common Musculoskeletal Disorder of the Lower Quadrant

  • Rehabilitation of Common Musculoskeletal Disorder of the Lower Quadrant
